What is the purpose this form? This form allows anyone to report attempted or completed incidents of sexual assault, rape, sexual harassment, stalking, dating violence, domestic violence, or sexual exploitation.
What if you are unsure if this situation falls into one of those categories? Complete this form anyway and either way, the Title IX Coordinator will respond to you if you provide your contact information.
What happens when I submit this form? The report is delivered to the College Title IX Coordinator for review. The Title IX Coordinator will assess the harm to individuals as well as any request for confidentiality.
Will the Title IX Coordinator contact me?If you provide your name and your contact information, yes. We will want to acknowledge and follow-up on your report, check-in with you to learn what resources and support you might want or need, and make sure that you have been provided important information about options and next steps.
Can you report anonymously? Yes, you may provide information anonymously and no attempt will be made by the College to determine your identity. Please understand, sharing your identity may be helpful as the Title IX Coordinator can connect you with resources, like medical and counseling services, and provide information about your options for further action. The information provided may be used by the College to take action to stop the behavior and prevent its recurrence, or conduct an investigation if requested by the Complainant.
I am not sure if I should file this report. Can I talk to someone about my questions without providing details about the information I’m considering reporting? Absolutely. The Title IX Coordinator, Kat McGee, would be happy to speak with you to answer all of your questions. The Title IX Coordinator can be reached by calling (201) 684-7220 during business hours or at titleIX@ramapo.edu. You do not need to provide information about the report in order to get your questions answered! You can also speak with a confidential resource, such as Counseling Services, or the Prevention Education Coordinator in the Office of Violence Prevention (a private resource, but non-confidential, meaning that this person reports statistical information to the College, but not names or identifying information).

Complainant: The individual who experienced the alleged behavior.
Respondent: The individual who engaged in the alleged behavior.
Witness: An individual with knowledge of the alleged behavior.
