Residents have the right to appeal a decision resulting from an incident review meeting with the appropriate appeal authority, either the Lead Conduct Coordinator. Appeals must be made within three (3) business days of your decision letter. Approval for an appeal meeting is determined by either Director of Residence Life, or his/her designee, based on one or more of the following:

1) Presentation of new or relevant information that was unavailable at the time of the original Incident Review Meeting;

2) The decision about the behavior is unsupported by preponderance of the evidence;

3) The Coordinator who conducted the incident Review Meeting was influenced by personal bias;

4) The sanction was not appropriate to the offense;

5) The Coordinator who conducted the Incident Review Meeting did not follow written procedures as outlined in the conduct process material.


An appeal can be completed by filling out this form. Submitting an appeal does not mean an appeal meeting will be granted.
