The certification process may take up to 15 days to complete. The requests are processed in the order in which they are received.
Dean's Certification /Clearance is verification that you, as an FGCU student, have / have not violated any University policies or been subject to any disciplinary actions or proceedings. Dean’s Certification is usually required by graduate and professional schools, state bar associations, government agencies, or independent agencies when applying for admission or employment. Most of these institutions will provide you with a form for you to fill out and the Dean of Students' Office to complete. Our office will fill out the form or send our own letter of clearance directly to the institution.
