What is the Concern, Assistance, Resources, and Empowerment (CARE) Team?
The Concern, Assistance, Resources, and Empowerment (CARE) Team (formerly SAIT) is a team of Highline staff and faculty trained in behavioral intervention and Threat Assessment, who meet weekly to manage reported cases that do not constitute a violation of the Student Conduct Code, but that are concerning enough to require possible intervention. You may also report students who may be struggling psychologically or emotionally, or any other unusual patterns of behavior that fall outside the student's normal range. Submitting a report that falls under CARE may result in interventions to address the issue. Learn more about CARE on our website.
Please include your name, title, and contact information. Please note that anonymous reports may limit our effectiveness in dealing with concerning behavior. Once you complete a report, we will respond to you within two to three business days.
