A student that has been dismissed for unsatisfactory academic work (cumulative GPA below 2.0) will be enrolled as a limited probationary student, if reinstated.
This enrollment status means the student must earn at least a 2.0 in all courses and show progress towards achieving a cumulative GPA of 2.00 for each semester of enrollment.
A limited probationary student will be academically dismissed if academic progress is not achieved.
When a limited probationary student achieves a cumulative GPA of 2.00, the student will be removed from academic probation and returned to academic good standing.
Dismissed students who apply for reinstatement after a 1 year absence from the college SHOULD SUBMIT THIS FORM BY THE DEADLINE BELOW FOR THE INTENDED SEMESTER OF ENROLLMENT.
If the deadline is not met, the reinstatement request will be considered for the subsequent semester.
Fall semester - submit by July 15
Winter semester - submit by November 15
Summer semester - submit by April 15
Once your Academic Reinstatement Request is received, a reinstatement interview appointment will be scheduled.
