Behavioral Intervention Team
The Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) responds to student behaviors of concern that may affect the educational mission and/or operation of the University. The purpose of the group is to provide a timely response to student behavior concerns.
Please use this form to report student(s) who may be exhibiting concerning behavior which could include, self-injurious behavior, suicidal ideation or attempt, distressing, disruptive and /or disturbing behavior, inside or outside of the classroom setting.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN: If this is an emergency that requires immediate attention, please contact University Police at (919) 530-6106 prior to filling out this referral form. While referrals from this form are reviewed by a variety of campus partners working to assist students, it is NOT designed as an emergency response notification process.
