Purpose of Students of Concern:
The purpose of the Students of Concern Team is to provide support for students who have been identified by the Springfield College community as a risk to themselves, the community, and/or at risk for academic failure.

The SOC Team:
The Students of Concern team (SOC) is comprised of student affairs professionals, academic advising, public safety, and the academic success center. Their charge is to provide communication between different campus departments regarding students of concern, provide a centralized repository for information about student behavioral concerns, provide students with support, resources and case management, and to educate the community on recognizing behaviors of concern.

Who should use this form:
This form is for the use of current students, faculty, or staff from Springfield College. Please provide detailed information regarding the concern you are reporting. Once the form is received, a member of the SOC Team will review the information and take appropriate action, which may or may not include contacting the student, you, and any others you have identified.
