Per the Code of Student Conduct, a student may request an appeal of the findings and/or the sanctions from the Administrative Conference by completing this requisite form.
In the matters of sex/gender discrimination, sexual misconduct, domestic violence, intimate partner/relationship violence, or stalking, the complainant may also request an appeal of the findings and/or sanctions.
Appeal requests are limited to the following grounds:
1. A procedural or substantive error occurred that significantly impacted the outcome of the hearing (e.g. substantiated bias, material deviation from established procedures, etc.);
2. To consider new evidence, unavailable during the original hearing or investigation, that could substantially impact the original finding or sanction. A summary of this new evidence and its potential impact must be included; or
3. The sanctions imposed are substantially disproportionate to the severity of the violation.
Appeals must be filed with the Dean of Students office within three (3) business days of the notice of the outcome to the hearing, barring exigent circumstances.
Please see the Code of Student Conduct, Section VII.P for further information.
