This form is meant for a student to file a grievance against a college employee about a misapplication of policy, procedure, regulation, or law. This form cannot be used to dispute grades or to appeal the outcome of another policy such as a student conduct matter. A student must have been enrolled at the college at the time of the decision or action being grieved and must be the target of the alleged mistreatment. This grievance procedure must be initiated by the student within 30 instructional weekdays of becoming aware of the decision, action, or event giving rise to the grievance.
The full student grievance policy is explained in Appendix 5 of the college catalog. The Chief Student Services Officer for the College is Ms. Linda Jameison, Vice President for Student Support and Engagement. She or her designee will respond to general grievances. The Title IX Coordinator for the College is Dr. Mark Dougherty, Dean of Students. He or his designee will respond to grievances involving discrimination.
