Please use this form to request a voluntary hardship withdrawal for a current or previous term.
What is a hardship?
- A hardship is an unforeseeable circumstance that occurred after the semester began (often after the midpoint) which had a significant impact on the student’s ability to continue in the course(s) and be successful.
- A hardship may be due to a physical, mental, emotional, or psychological condition.
In order to be reviewed, the student must provide documentation related to the hardship. Documentation can be provided from the student’s healthcare provider, hospital records, accident reports, obituary, court documents, or other appropriate means.
Be sure to review the Dean of Students’ website to be informed about the process as well as all financial aid implications and student account policies.
