Western is committed to incorporating feedback from students, employees, partners, and the public into College operations. Individuals have the right to file informal concerns or formal grievances regarding Western's personnel, services, processes, facilities, academic issues or any allegation of discrimination. Western uses feedback to make improvements to services or in teaching and learning.
Please use this form to submit a compliment, suggestion or concern. For a grievance, complete this form to initiate the first steps of the grievance procedure.
Compliment: Recognition of praise for a person, department, service or information you have received.
Suggestion: An idea about how Western may improve a process, service or learning experience. This is an informal way of communicating an issue of importance to or affecting students. Note: by choosing this option, you want Western to know about the issue but do not necessarily want someone to contact you.
Concern: A notification of dissatisfaction with a person, department, service or information that requires the College to gather information and/or work towards resolution with the student.
Grievance: Complaints alleging the denial of rights, harassment or discrimination,

Individuals providing feedback through the suggestion, concern or grievance processes shall be free from any retaliation from any faculty or staff person

WTCS Complaint Process
You are encouraged to utilize the Western feedback process to address concerns, however issues that are not resolved at the campus level may be presented to the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS). Please refer to this process for addressing the following unresolved issues:
(a) Allegations of violation of Wisconsin consumer protection laws, including but not limited to, false advertising
(b) Allegations of violations of Wisconsin law related to the licensure of postsecondary institutions; or
(c) Allegations relating to the quality of education or other State or accreditation requirements.
A student who reasonably believes a violation in one or more of these categories has occurred, may file a written complaint by signing and submitting an office complaint via the WTCS Student Complaint Form.
