Whitworth University seeks to ensure a positive living, learning, and working environment for all Whitworth students. Specifically, the university prohibits unwelcome, harassing (which includes sexual harassment and sexual assault) or discriminatory conduct on the basis of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, legally protected medical condition, marital status, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical condition), age over 40, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other bias protected by federal, state, or local law.
The objective is to prevent an environment from developing which unreasonably interferes with a student's academic endeavors and/or faculty and staff's work or has the effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment because of such prohibited conduct. It is essential that students, faculty, and staff immediately report conduct that is believed to be in violation of this policy. Prompt reporting is necessary in order to conduct timely fact-finding about complaints, attempt to remedy the problem before the situation escalates, and reduce the potential for the spread of harmful rumors.
This form is intended for reporting student-related incidents. Other incidents may be reported to Ariane Mondragon Oglesbee, Chief Human Resources Officer for Human Resources (509.777.4320) and/or the appropriate area Chief Administrator.
